  The exterior part of the hotel/motel had a certain charm to it. The manager was very friendly, but your stay boils down to a room which was decent but somewhat disappointing.
  
  The price for 1 bedroom on a saturday was a bit unreasonable. $198 for a 1 bedroom apartment that had 2 couches, one had a fold out bed that was helpful. However, $198 for a room that was definitely NOT WORTH 200 for a night. The bathroom light was dodgy and ultimately didn't work, it was just a flickering light when having a shower that made you feel like you were in a rave. Fixable, but didn't help our stay. 1 room key for 3 teenagers was quite annoying, and you had to lock your room otherwise someone could just walk in and take everything. Balcony was nice, chairs were comfy and so was the pool.
  
  Despite the rooms charm, it looked and felt cheap - maybe we got the one that nobody wanted. It was probably more expensive because it was Saturday, but honestly 198 was not worth it. If it's cheaper on other days, who knows. It was hard to judge for 1 night, i wouldn't be happy to recommend but i wouldn't denounce it completely; definitely worth a look if you're staying in Broadbeach for a while.
