  This is a fantastic property which represents the Sofitel brand fairly well.
  It's not a really top end Sofitel, but it is still one of the best hotels on the Gold Coast.
  
  The rooms are of a good size, well maintained and meticulously clean.
  Service is the typical fantastic experience that one expects of a Sofitel.
  
  The restaurants are the jewel in the crown of this property.
  
  The degustation menu at Room81 is definitely worth the experience, particularly if you are staying on site and can indulge in the paired wines.
  
  The location is very convenient, giving good access to many restaurants and local sights.

  Service is second to none. Staff and food always great. Very accommodating and nothing is ever an issue.

  Location location location!! Clean and elegant hotel nicely located in the heart of Broadbeach. Pool was small but we have been there in the low season so it wasn't a big deal. Great bars around and the view was great.

  Really nice hotel on Broadbeach. Good rooms with good views, nice pool area, has lift access directly into the shopping centre and has a back door through a TAB into the same shopping centre. Excellent staff, very attentive. Nathan sorted out a problem for us on the day we arrived, lovely guy.

  Hotel accommodation ok, they really need to do something with their restaurants. When we were there, their signature restaurant room 81 only had set menus for 12 and 5 courses with matching wine's, at a cost of $225 and $154 per person respectively. Rather ridiculous I thought, it would really suit mum, dad and the three kids wouldn't it, NOT !!!. To top it off, their second restaurant The Bistro is closed 2 or 3 nights a week, very handy if you wish to eat where you're staying, again NOT !!!. We we're left to wander the streets of Broadbeach in heavy winds and light rain to find a suitable restaurant for dinner. Strangely, we checked out the following day, staying one night instead of three. Enough said, Jack Kelly.
